Like anything on the web people like to complicate things, you probably have noticed that too.
You know they do this so they can sell you a solution.
Many of us get sucked in by believing it is beyond us and we need this solution to get ahead.
I have also found this out the hard way, been sucked in many times.
Keyword research is no different because there is a bit of confusion surrounding the subject people use it to better themselves over others. So let's break it down and see what all the fuss is about.
When you type in a word or a sentence in Google search engine, it will look and find matches within posts and websites to match this search. In reality, there are many other factors that play a role over 200 of them.
Since the start of the internet, Google has had many updates, mainly to prevent people from manipulating the search results. SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is another one of these buzz words that has been thrown around.
So to put in simple words people have been trying to manipulate the search results and Google has been closing the door on them over the years. You see Google wants you to find what you are looking for, not some crap that people want to sell to you.
So over the years, many people tried to jump the queue and get in front and better themselves, these days things are different, there are no short cuts and if there are Google will shut them down.
If you want to rank on the search engines, you better play by Google's rules. What is Google looking for? Basically what we as customers want, authentic content. So authentic content is King!
When you write authentic content the keywords that Google is looking for are naturally within your text. Because people are smart they will reverse engineer and find out what Google is using to rank your site, in other ways SEO!
Google allows you to do SEO to a certain extent, you see they go hand in hand. If you improve your website and make it easier for Google to find you it is OK but you need authentic content. No copying and pasting other peoples work!
How to learn keyword research is an essential part of driving traffic to your site by ranking higher in the search engines. The way to do that is to incorporate the keywords or the key sentence into your content naturally. So your sentence makes sense and doesn't look out of place.
The research that you do for keywords is aimed to find a niche market. So we want to find keywords that people are searching with that have
You then write a post with content that has that keyword in it and you get it to rank on Google and other search engines.
You might be afraid and think that many niche markets already have too much competition and that you are too late, you missed the boat and it has sailed. So you don't even try! Let me tell you something, there is an abundance of niche markets out there.
There are over 4 billion people online, do you really think they have all the same interest as you do? New niche markets are being created every day! My biggest worry is that I don't have enough time to utilise all the no competition niche markets out there!
That said, I don't intend to. Why? Because I am not a greedy person and it is impossible for me to do anyway.
Let's face it there is enough for everyone to share around.
Low competition keywords with a good amount of monthly traffic are ready for SEO and when you find them you can rank easily on the search engines by creating some authentic content that is relevant to that keyword.
In the old days, you would go on google and search for keywords manually, nowadays you have software that can do it for you. this can save you lots of time and money.
Like I said before there are many keyword tools out there and many don't live up to what they are selling! They give you useless data that looks impressive to people that don't know what they looking at.
Just remember this saying "In the land of the blind, one eye is KING!", you get overwhelmed and taken for a ride and when you get the experience and finally know what you want, you already have paid and lost your money.
I came across this keyword search engine that I could try for free. It is called Jaaxy. It basically provides you with very simple but useful information. I have taken a screenshot for so I will explain to you how it works.
As you can see, I just did a search on "new makeup trends", this just popped into just now. I will first explain to you what you are looking at so it becomes clear to you.
Just under the search box, you see the heading of the list.
this gives you all the different keywords that it can find that are similar to your keyword search!
Is the average of searches that you can expect per month. The higher the number the better it is.
Is the traffic that you can expect per month. The higher the number the better it is.
This stands for a quoted search result, this tells you the exact number of competition pages that rank under the exact search term. If you aim under 400, you have a good chance of getting ranked, 300 is ideal but I tend to aim for under a 100 myself.
The lower the number the better it is.
This gives you an instant indication of the keyword quality for any campaign PPC, SEO or otherwise! Speaks for itself, great, normal and poor.
This allows you to see if your keyword is good for getting SEO rankings. The higher the percentage the better it is.
This shows you what domains are available for the search that you performed. So if you are looking for a niche market that you want to create a website for, this allows you to find the domain that is your search or close to your search.
So as you see, not really hard to understand but incredibly powerful.
Let's take a look at what we found.
"Eye makeup older women" is giving us 908 AVG, 155 Traffic, 23 QSR, Great KQI, 95% SEO and available Domains.
So if I had a website promoting makeup, I could write a post about eye makeup for older women and get easily ranked on page 1 in Google.
This post would give you 155 people visiting, this is only for the keyword that you used. Your post might also rank for many other words in your post.
Say overtime you have 250 people coming to your post per month and because of your authentic content you have a conversion rate between 5-10%, that means that this post gives you from 12 to 25 sales per month.
Creating multiple posts like this for your niche markets will give you multiple sales revenue. Say if you create 10 posts of 25 sales per month at $10 of profit, this will give you $2500/month.
You can easily scale this up by finding new keywords and adding new posts.
Jaaxy is a great tool and I use it every day and never run out of idea or keywords to blog about.
You can try it here yourself.
Just think of something and type it in or you can get a free account by clicking the button below.

As you can see you can try Jaaxy for free to start off with, I personally have got the pro version and will be upgrading to soon to the enterprise one. Jaaxy for me was a no brainer, the $19 per month is peanuts, that is $0.65/day.
It saves me so much time and on top of that, it has found me some pretty awesome keywords.
So how to learn keyword research has been made a lot simpler thanks to Jaaxy.
